We also talked to four of our Boss ass ladies and how they have become the strong woman they are today.

Caroline
Job role: Senior Ops, E-Commerce & Marketing Manager
What’s your idea of a powerful woman? Someone who can stand up for what she believes in, knows exactly who she is, knows what she wants in life and is advocates Self-Love.
Which powerful women do you admire the most and why? My mum – she is the strongest woman I know, she has drive, ambition and brings out the best in everyone around her.
What are you most proud of doing? Progression in my career and buying my very own house.
What did you want to be when you were younger? A Marine Biologist!
What’s one thing you would tell your younger self? Being book smart isn’t the be and end all. Although you learn a lot at university, sometimes real working life experience is what makes you progress in your career.
Holly
Job Role: TRADE ACCOUNT MANAGER AND MARKETING ASSOSIATE
What’s you idea of a powerful woman? A powerful woman is someone who can stand up for what she believes in and isn’t afraid to take charge to get where she wants to be.
Which powerful women do you admire the most and why? I admire my mum for her strength, hard work & determination, I admire my gran for her kindness & selflessness. I admire my sister for her confidence & love of life.
What are you most proud of doing? I am proud that I have found a job I love and I that I am able to make my family & friends smile.
What did you want to be when you were younger? I wanted to be a pharmacist to follow in the footsteps of my grandpa. Turns out you need a lot of brains!
What’s one thing you would tell your younger self? I would tell my younger self to travel the world and worry about the rest later.
Orly
Job Role: Senior Product Manager
What’s you idea of a powerful woman? Someone who knows who she is and is not afraid to go after what she wants.
Which powerful women do you admire the most and why? My Mum, she has grown a business from the ground up with all the obstacles she has faced and still manages to stay positive!
What are you most proud of doing? Growing a business with my Mum and creating a (mostly) all woman team!
What did you want to be when you were younger? I didn’t know!
What’s one thing you would tell your younger self? Having no future plans sometimes turns out to be the best plan :)

What’s your idea of a powerful woman? A women who is in control, treats everyone equally and balances family and work life.
Which powerful women do you admire the most and why? My Mum, for teaching me to always be positive and only see the good.
What are you most proud of doing? Producing four wonderful children.
What did you want to be when you were younger? An airhostess
What’s one thing you would tell your younger self? Never be afraid of growing old.
